This British rare breed sheepskin rug is a really unusual but beautiful blend of several shades of browns and golden yellow cream, with some subtle grey highlights. 

The lighting can greatly affect the appearance of the natural colours - our photos have been taken outside. Under artificial lighting it really does have a strong golden coloured base with dark brown highlights above, like a bumble bee.

The rug is very soft, with a short-ish fleece (~4cm) that has wispy hair on top of more tightly packed wool underneath. There is some variation with the fleece length with slightly shorter wool patches on either edge, as well as some small bald patches, commonly found on natural sheepskins.

Like all our rugs, it has been tanned in the UK and hand finished in our Yorkshire Dales warehouse.
